Although now mostly known as a jazz musician, for Los Angeles based guitarist Jon Dalton that wasn't always the case. In the late 1970s Jon was a founding member of the UK Space-Metal band Gold. Gold's music was thought long-forgotten until recently when a small cadre of rock and metal fans began to discover them through the mists and portals of the Internet. As a result, what little remained of their recorded output was remastered and released by Bristol Archive Records for new generations to enjoy.

Jon started to get asked again to contribute guitar parts for rock recording sessions. “At first I wasn't sure I even could.” he once said but such doubts were soon dispelled. This new recording features a refreshing confluence of styles and influences old and new.
